Reviewing the Worst Cyber Attacks of 2019

2019 was a year of new heights for the frequency and diversity of cyber attacks that impacted local government and public safety. We saw hackers breach and secretly use computer aided dispatch systems for cryptomining. We heard about state actors from foreign governments and their push to infect critical infrastructure here in the US. We all watched with dread as city governments struggled to maintain critical systems when hit with aggressive ransomware. As we begin the new year, it’s a perfect time to review what cyber-struggles our industry faced over the last year and discuss how we can improve our defense for 2020.

In this on demand webinar we discuss:

  • What trends are we seeing in cyber-attacks across the nation?
  • How are hackers evolving – both in how they attack and what they do when they get into our networks?
  • What cyber defenses should be in place for protection in 2020?
  • As we transition to NG9-1-1, what lessons are we learning about cybersecurity for Public Safety?
